Chains on Back Tires

The best true story of the ongoing saga of Portland's freezing storm conditions, was shared with me this morning by my Brother in Law, who lives in Milwaukie. He says while he was sitting in the straight lane heading to Clackamas Town Center from the Prominade, he noticed that the fella to his left in an older Jetta, was attempting to get started toward his left turn, when his car began to slide off to the right. After several attempts, the car sliding in front of my brothers truck, crossed three lanes and the fella riding, hops out to push a little. Not, however, before my Brother in Law happened to glance down and spot the set of chains on the back tires of this little, FRONT WHEEL DRIVE Jetta!

I needed to add the rest of this story! Rather late for any who have happened on this post previously! The rest of the story is:

Like the chains on the tires of the Jetta, we possess the answer to our problems already! Just learning how and where to apply these answers, will change our lives! God promises to bring to remembrance and teach us all things as we have need! Or I should say, as we seek and listen! So, choose to put the power where it belongs, in His hands! As the chains on a front wheel drive car, should be put on the proper driving wheels, the choice we make, must be, to Allow "The Spirit" to have charge of our every moment in life, in order for us to function as we are designed!
Great Day to All,

You Are Perfect

I am perfect! You are perfect! Think about it! Who made me? Who made you? Yes, we are perfect, made perfect by a Perfect Creator! So, if I am perfect, why don't I see my perfection? Because I, like you, keep my perfection hidden behind my ego. Think about it, what causes you to judge? What causes you to fear? What causes you to feel insecure? The ego! Just like in the garden, Adam and Eve were lead to believe that they needed something more to be, "Like God". Not true, they were already, "Like God". That is why they were no longer able to remain in the Garden, so that they could not eat of the tree of life and live forever, after becoming aware of the knowledge of evil! The knowledge of evil, ever spend a thought on what the knowledge of evil is? Perhaps it is the awareness of anything other than the positive flow and energy of God. For he says, "Whatever is honorable, pure ... let your mind dwell on these things!" Do you know why? Because He knows that by allowing our minds to flow anywhere but on the good, we will be distracted from that good and fall into the open pit of EVIL, where depression, anger, sorrow, apathy, fear and hatred to name a few, will rob us of our perfection! We will see perfection again, but not until we leave our ego behind!

Yes You Are Perfect Too!

You are perfect! A new idea to you? Well it shouldn't be, we were made by a perfect Creator! Why shouldn't we be seen as perfect, when that is our heavenly nature? We have been told for so long that we are not perfect, that we have taken on this adage as truth!
I'm here to ask you to consider a new way of looking at yourself. See yourself as you were designed, to be perfect, as your Father in Heaven is Perfect! In itself, this should be an encouragement to become more like our Father in heaven, thus attaining a more perfect relationship to the Creator. We have hidden our perfection in an earthly focused life, namely, ego! In general, we are more concerned with what others think of us, than with the design of creation. When we place the beliefs of family and friends before the intuitive wisdom we possess, we take on the "foggy" understanding of who we are. We have been given the opportunity to choose whom we shall become, by the choices we make. That which you think, shall be. Thus, if you think on how you were made perfect, how you shall allow the, "Perfect" to perfect you, you shall once again see yourself as perfect! Allow, don't try to force this state upon yourself. No amount of work can perfect us! For, all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God! Does this mean that we should dwell upon the creation rather than the Creator! NO! Let your mind dwell on the good, honorable and pure that He has put before us, in order for us to see how we are perfect. We will never be equal to the Creator, however, we can be directed and led by His Spirt, to do greater things than Jesus, should we choose to relinquish our control over this earthly vessel by quiet acquiesence to His Spirit. Were we to recognize the unmitigated truth and power we have, because Our Creator has given us the opportunity to be one with Him, we would live our lives under a totally different belief system. We were made perfect, we are to be perfect! The only way we can accomplish this task, is to drop our egotistical lifestyle and allow the essence of God to be expressed and lived through us.
